Event to honor and celebrate the output of AIDS culture by a variety of people, across disciplines at a time where HIV continues to be a crisis. It is also to acknowledge the very specific - and difficult - experience of releasing a book about one pandemic, as a new one emerges. Many of the books were not able to gain much public attention due to the very real demands on people’s attention during an unprecedented and tumultus time of pandemics, social upheaval, revolution, climate change, and other factors.
