SPEECH ITSELF (2022), marks the centennial of PEN and calls attention to its increasingly dire warnings about the erosion of free speech, freedom of the press, freedom of expression and other core pillars of democracy in the US and beyond.  Holzer selected an excerpt from Los Angeles poet Steven Reigns to project onto Rockefeller Center.  Other writers included Margaret Atwood, Ron Chernow, Joy Harjo, Jhumpa Lahiri, and Toni Morrison.
